Rogelio Reyes — known in professional wrestling as Cuatrero and the former partner of WWE star Stephanie Vaquer — has been found guilty of domestic violence and attempted femicide against Vaquer, according to journalist Antonio Nieto. Reyes will be formally sentenced on Tuesday, May 12.
The criminal complaint was filed by Vaquer in March 2023 while both were working at CMLL. Vaquer alleged that Reyes forced himself on her, choked her, and threw her against a wall. Reyes was arrested on March 10, 2023, charged with attempted femicide and domestic violence, and released later that month. The legal proceedings have continued in the years since, culminating in the guilty verdict.
Stephanie Vaquer’s Legal Battle Against Cuatrero Has Concluded With a Guilty Verdict
Vaquer has since signed with WWE, where she became Women’s World Champion before losing the title to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42. She is currently sidelined with a second-degree AC joint sprain sustained in an angle on the April 27 Raw, with SummerSlam mentioned internally as a possible return target. The guilty verdict closes a legal chapter that began more than three years ago following Vaquer’s decision to come forward.
