AJ Styles has one final hurdle to clear before putting his career on the line at the Royal Rumble. During this week’s SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis confronted Styles about his decision to risk everything against Gunther. While Styles stood firm, Aldis revealed he had another reason for bringing him to the ring.
A Familiar Foe Returns
Shinsuke Nakamura interrupted the proceedings, challenging Styles to prove he is “still phenomenal” before stepping into the ring with “The Ring General.” The two legends, whose rivalry spans from NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 10 to WrestleMania, agreed to face off one more time at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal.
