The booking itself was unusual. Both Angel Garza and Humberto “Berto” Carrillo are part of the SmackDown roster, making their Raw appearance their first match on the brand for either since a 2023 battle royal. They had been seen earlier in the night asking Adam Pearce for any opportunity, and when Pearce announced the Oba Femi Open Challenge had been cancelled due to lack of challengers, Femi dragged the duo to the ring himself for an easy win.
