Released WWE Star Cleared For Physical Activity Following Neck Surgery

Former WWE Superstar Luke Menzies, known to fans as Ridge Holland, has shared a massive update on his road to recovery. In a social media post on January 16, Menzies revealed that he has been fully cleared for unrestricted physical exercise just eight weeks after undergoing a two-level cervical disc replacement surgery.

“The Bionic Yorkshireman”

Menzies posted x-rays and photos of his recovery, celebrating the milestone with his followers. The surgery was necessary to fix lingering issues that had kept him out of action since late 2025. Despite being released by WWE, the company reportedly covered the costs of the procedure, a gesture Menzies has previously expressed gratitude for.

“As of today I’m fully cleared to return to unrestricted physical exercise after my 2 level cervical disc replacement I had 8 weeks ago… UNREAL. I just need to get these screws out of my foot next. You can call me the Bionic Yorkshireman!”

What’s Next?

While this clearance allows him to resume training, Menzies has not yet confirmed if a return to the ring is in his immediate plans. He still has additional medical hurdles to clear, specifically mentioning screws that need to be removed from his foot. However, this update is a positive sign that “The Bionic Yorkshireman” is getting back to full strength, potentially opening the door for a return to wrestling in the latter half of 2026.
