The partnership between WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia appears to be expanding significantly in 2026. While the company has traditionally held two major events in the region per year—typically in May and November—new comments from TKO leadership suggest the schedule is ramping up.
According to TKO’s Andrew Schleimer, as cited in the Daily Update, WWE is currently expecting to hold three Premium Live Events (PLEs) in Saudi Arabia throughout 2026. The year is already starting with a bang, as the Royal Rumble is set to take place in Riyadh on January 31, marking the first time one of the “Big Four” events has been held in the country. Adding two more events later in the year would underscore the region’s growing importance to WWE’s global revenue strategy and event calendar.
