Becky Lynch had no issue with the chaotic conclusion to her match on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The Women’s Intercontinental Champion retained her title against Maxxine Dupri, but only thanks to a shocking intervention from Natalya. The veteran superstar placed Lynch’s foot on the ropes to break a crucial pinfall attempt, saving “The Man” from defeat before attacking her own protege after the bell.
Taking to social media to spin the narrative, Lynch commended Natalya for being a “true believer” while deflecting accusations that she actually lost the match. She claimed that the television broadcast failed to show her shoulder rising before the three-count, conspiracy-theorizing that General Manager Adam Pearce was behind the bad camera work.
“I KNEW IT!! Nattie has ALWAYS been a BECKY BELIEVER!! That camera angle was TERRIBLE (I heard from my SOURCES that PINHEAD PEARCE specifically wanted that angle) because it didn’t show my shoulder RAISING right at 2!!!”
Lynch also justified Natalya’s post-match assault on Dupri, describing the veteran’s frustration as “very warranted.” While Lynch escaped Belfast with her reign intact, the alliance—intentional or accidental—between her and Natalya has added a volatile new dynamic to the women’s division.
