Roxanne Perez is rapidly cementing her reputation as one of the toughest competitors on the WWE roster. According to a new report from PWInsider, the Judgment Day member has garnered significant praise from backstage officials for her dedication and work ethic over the last few weeks.
The report notes that Perez has been dealing with physical wear and tear that would likely sideline lesser competitors. Rather than a single specific injury, she is reportedly “gutting through” a combination of lingering issues.
“Officials have been impressed with how Perez has handled herself… Despite being ‘banged up,’ she competed throughout the company’s recent European tour and the weeks leading up to it, earning credit for her toughness.”
Perez’s grit will be put to the test this weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is scheduled to team with her stablemate Liv Morgan to challenge Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. The duo earned this opportunity by winning a triple threat match against Asuka & Kairi Sane and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria on the January 12 episode of Raw in Germany.
The rivalry reached a boiling point on this week’s Raw, where Judgment Day executed a vicious attack that left the champions laid out, serving as the final statement before their clash in Montreal.
Regardless of the outcome in Montreal, Perez has no plans to slow down. She has officially been confirmed for the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on January 31. She joins a loaded field that includes her Judgment Day allies Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, as well as rivals Ripley, SKY, Asuka, Bayley, and Valkyria.
