Naomi Gets Emotional Discussing First Women’s World Title Win

Naomi’s journey from walking out of WWE in 2022 to becoming the Women’s World Champion is one of the most compelling redemption arcs in recent history. In Episode 4 of WWE: Unreal Season 2, she opened up about the emotional rollercoaster of cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Evolution.

Solidifying Her Return

Naomi described the title win as validation for her decision to bet on herself years prior.

“Me returning, I wanted to be better, do better, become better. This solidifies that. It proves that. It’s very emotional… First time ever being the Women’s World Champion… For those who have been watching me since 2009, if I could just sum it all up, my journey is just to keep going.”

She also touched on the infamous 2022 walkout, noting that it was a necessary step for her personal growth: “I needed to stand up for myself, not as Naomi, but as Trinity.”
