Randy Orton Says Musician Is Better Than Any Celebrity Wrestler Ever

Celebrity crossovers in WWE are hit or miss, but according to Randy Orton, Jelly Roll is in a league of his own. In Episode 4 of WWE: Unreal Season 2, “The Viper” heaped praise on the musician for his surprisingly natural aptitude for the wrestling business.

“A Lifelong Fan”

Orton noted that Jelly Roll’s passion for the industry was evident in his performance, setting him apart from other celebrities who have tried their hand at sports entertainment.

“If I were to, uh, describe Jelly Roll, he’s a natural performer… You can just tell that he’s a lifelong fan. He loves this business, and he’s been watching because he knows what it takes to perform in that ring. And he just did it so well. I was so impressed. He blew anyone else out of the water that’s ever tried to step out of their world and step into ours.”
