Jade Cargill has been on a dominant run since capturing the WWE Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event. With successful defenses against the likes of Alba Fyre and B-Fab on SmackDown, the powerhouse champion is already looking ahead to her next major challenge. In a recent interview with Ring The Bell, Cargill made it clear that she wants to test herself against the very best the industry has to offer: Charlotte Flair.
When asked about a potential opponent she has her eyes on, Cargill wasted no time in naming “The Queen.” She praised Flair’s ability to elevate everyone she steps in the ring with, citing that quality as a major reason for her interest in the matchup.
“Charlotte Flair. I love Charlotte Flair. I think she and I would have an amazing match. One thing I know is that Charlotte pulls those she works with up. She tries her best to do that. She wants to do nothing but represent and elevate the women’s division. I want to do the exact same thing. That’s one woman I want to work with, for sure.”
A showdown between the two has been teased in the past with tense televised staredowns, but they have yet to lock horns in an official match. While Cargill reigns as the singles champion, Flair is currently occupied in the tag team division, teaming with Alexa Bliss. However, with Cargill seeking marquee opponents to define her title reign, a collision between these two athletic phenoms seems inevitable.
