The Royal Rumble is famous for its surprise entrants, and if the latest backstage whispers are to be believed, “Tiffy Time” is about to strike in Saudi Arabia. According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there have been significant “rumblings” regarding Tiffany Stratton returning to the company this weekend at the Royal Rumble event in Riyadh. The report suggests that the former WWE Women’s Champion is expected to be in town for the show, sparking widespread speculation that she will be a surprise entrant in the women’s match.
Stratton has been conspicuously absent from WWE television since November 2025, when she dropped the WWE Women’s Championship to Jade Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event. While her disappearance was initially believed to be a standard creative break—a tactic often employed by Triple H to let losing champions recharge—reports from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter later clarified that she was dealing with an undisclosed injury. However, with Johnson’s latest update, it appears she has been medically cleared and is ready to re-insert herself into the title picture on the road to WrestleMania 42.
If Stratton does return this weekend, she will be looking to reclaim the momentum that made her the breakout star of 2025. She cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax early last year to capture the gold, embarking on a 302-day reign that defined the blue brand’s women’s division. With Cargill currently facing fan backlash for her lack of title defenses, a returning Stratton could be instantly positioned as the top challenger—or even a fan favorite—heading into the spring. With betting odds already shifting in her favor, the stage seems set for a massive pop at the King Abdullah Financial District.
