Becky Lynch Wants To Cross The “Forbidden Door” To Face Top AEW Star

Becky Lynch has done it all in WWE. From main eventing WrestleMania to holding every active championship available to her, “The Man” has shared the ring with legends like Trish Stratus, Lita, Charlotte Flair, and Bayley. However, when asked to name a dream opponent she has yet to conquer, the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion looked outside the walls of Stamford for her answer.

Speaking in a new interview with Billboard, Lynch revealed that her top choice for a future showdown is none other than AEW’s “Timeless” Toni Storm. Lynch admitted that she actively watches the rival product and has been impressed by Storm’s character reinvention. “I’d probably wrestle Toni Storm. I always wanted to wrestle her. I was bummed when she left, and she’s doing amazing work over there at [AEW]. It’s absolutely amazing,” Lynch said.

Lynch didn’t just name the opponent; she also pitched the stipulation. Drawing on her “Big Time Becks” persona, she suggested a violent environment for the hypothetical clash. “Let’s make it a Dublin Street Fight. I do love a good street fight or maybe a Hell in a Cell. Yeah, let’s make it a Hell in a Cell,” she added. While contract status makes this match unlikely in the near future, Lynch’s comments serve as a reminder of the incredible talent flourishing across the industry. For now, Lynch remains focused on the 2026 Royal Rumble, where she hopes to recapture the magic of 2019 and earn another main event spot at WrestleMania.
