Liv Morgan is currently on top of the world after winning the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, but even champions have regrets. In a new interview with GQ Sports, the WWE superstar was asked if there was any moment from her career that she would like to relive or redo. Surprisingly, Morgan pointed to one of the most viral—and controversial—segments of the last decade: the wedding of Lana and Bobby Lashley.
Reflecting on the December 30, 2019, episode of Raw, Morgan expressed hesitation about her involvement in the chaotic ceremony. “You know, once upon a time, in like 2020, I objected a wedding, and maybe if I could go back in time I might not object the wedding,” Morgan admitted to GQ Sports (transcription via WrestleTalk).
For those who may have blocked it out, the segment saw Lana and Bobby Lashley attempting to tie the knot in the center of the ring. During the vows, multiple people interrupted, including Rusev and Lana’s other ex-partners. However, the biggest shock came when Liv Morgan emerged to plead her case, declaring that the “love of her life” was in the ring. While fans initially thought she meant Lashley or Rusev, she revealed she was in love with Lana, leading to a brawl. The storyline was dropped relatively quickly afterward, and it seems Morgan herself views it as a creative misstep she wouldn’t mind erasing from the history books.
