Liv Morgan recently sparked a conversation within the wrestling community with her blunt comments about handling online criticism. Earlier this month, the 2026 Royal Rumble winner stated that unless you are her boss, she essentially does not care about your opinion. During a recent appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Morgan took the opportunity to expand on those remarks, ensuring that her message was not misinterpreted as disrespect toward her fanbase.
Morgan clarified that while she values her supporters, she refuses to let negativity from internet trolls affect her. “That’s not to say that I don’t care about my supporters or the people that watch the product,” she explained. “But pertaining to online criticism, yeah, I do not care. I don’t care about what you have to say. I care about, obviously, what Triple H thinks, my boss. My producers. My peers involved.” She emphasized that her professional circle is where she seeks validation and guidance, rather than the often toxic environment of social media.
She used a colorful analogy to drive her point home. “It could be the yummiest, juiciest, most delicious peach in the world, but there’s still someone that doesn’t like peaches. And that’s okay,” Morgan noted. “I don’t care not out of disrespect, I just don’t care just because I understand that not everyone’s going to like everything. So I’m okay with that.”
This mindset will be crucial for Morgan as she heads into the most high-pressure season of the year. On the February 16 episode of Raw, Morgan was confronted by Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer during a sit-down interview. Vaquer delivered a scathing promo in Spanish that left Morgan in tears, adding a deeply personal layer to their developing rivalry. With WrestleMania 42 on the horizon, Morgan will need to maintain her mental toughness as she prepares to challenge either Vaquer or WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill in Las Vegas.
