AEW Double Or Nothing 2026 To Be Held At Louis Armstrong Stadium

AEW is taking one of its flagship events to a unique new venue in the Big Apple. The promotion officially announced today that Double or Nothing 2026 will emanate from the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, on Sunday, May 24. This marks the first time an AEW event will be held at the famous tennis venue, which is part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The move signals a continued effort by the company to run distinct, open-air venues for their major shows.

According to the press release, tickets for the event will go on sale Monday, March 9, at 10 AM ET. The show will broadcast live around the world on pay-per-view and will also be available for streaming on HBO Max. Andrew Zarian of Mat Men and FightfulSelect.com was the first to report the news of the venue change. The announcement confirms that AEW is looking to make a splash in the New York market during the Memorial Day weekend, a timeframe they have historically dominated with this specific brand.

Louis Armstrong Stadium features a retractable roof and a capacity of roughly 14,000, providing a different visual aesthetic compared to the traditional arenas AEW frequents. With “Hangman” Adam Page recently earning a World Championship shot against MJF for Revolution in March, the fallout from that event will likely shape the main event picture for Double or Nothing. As the company prepares for its upcoming slate of shows, the unique setting in Queens suggests they are planning a card worthy of the stadium atmosphere.
