Liv Morgan Makes WrestleMania Decision

The road to WrestleMania 42 continued to take shape on the February 23 episode of WWE RAW. The television broadcast took place live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

WWE fans in attendance witnessed a segment involving the winner of the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Liv Morgan finally stepped into the spotlight to make her official championship decision.

Morgan secured her guaranteed title opportunity by outlasting the competition at the Royal Rumble earlier this year. Since that victory, she has spent the last few weeks carefully evaluating her championship options.

She held the power to choose between two successful titleholders. Her options were WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

Morgan has teased making her final decision on multiple occasions leading up to this broadcast. However, a confrontation with Vaquer last week gave viewers an indication of her leaning.

Vaquer delivered a promo that ultimately brought Morgan to tears on live television. The response set the stage for a resolution in Atlanta.

During the first hour of WWE RAW, Dominik Mysterio and Morgan made their way to the ring. The heel duo took control of the microphone and officially invited both Vaquer and Cargill to come out.

The two champions entered the squared circle to stand face-to-face with the Royal Rumble winner. This setup provided Morgan with the platform to make her declaration.

After Morgan revealed that she had finally decided on her opponent, she paused to get something off her chest. She spoke directly to Vaquer, admitting that the words from the previous week truly got to her.

Morgan explained that she was affected because she is simply not used to feeling vulnerable. She openly admitted to being privileged and confessed that she did not know much about Vaquer’s personal journey.

Morgan then briefly turned her attention to Cargill to address the other champion in the ring. She told the SmackDown titleholder that she needs to focus on her own story moving forward.

Suddenly, Morgan spun back around toward Vaquer and laid her out by striking her with the microphone. The physical strike left the Women’s World Champion grounded on the mat.

That action made her WrestleMania 42 decision clear to the entire locker room. Morgan and Vaquer will officially collide for the gold on the grandest stage of them all.

The feud has now escalated from a war of words into a physical conflict. Both women will look to build momentum as the spring season continues.

The WWE roster is currently preparing for the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event. The steel structure event will take place on February 28, 2026, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Following that event, the focus will shift entirely to WrestleMania 42. The two-night stadium show is scheduled to take place on April 18 and 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
