Liv Morgan Pitches Big Tag Team Match

Liv Morgan is currently evaluating her championship options for WrestleMania 42 after winning the Royal Rumble match. The talented babyface has a major decision to make regarding the top titleholders.

However, she recently had to clarify some emotional moments on television. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer interrupted her announcement segment and berated The Miracle Kid.

Morgan was seen with tears in her eyes during the broadcast. She later clarified that she cried because dust hit both of her eyes at the exact same time.

She insisted her tears were not because of Stephanie Vaquer or her intimidating presence. While the singles championship picture remains her primary focus, she also has other goals in mind.

Liv Morgan has a very specific tag team match she wants to make a reality. The Judgment Day member recently appeared on the Going Ringside podcast to discuss her career.

During the interview, she revealed a secret agenda she shares with Raquel Rodriguez. The duo continuously pushes for this idea whenever they see an opportunity.

They want musicians Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion to team up and face them in the ring. The proposed bout would be a high-profile celebrity tag team match.

“Yeah. So, this has been this has been our secret hidden agenda for years. Anytime we get the opportunity, we let the world know that if Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion wanted to come to WWE, they obviously would have to wrestle the best women’s tag team in the world,” Morgan explained. She emphasized their statistical dominance as a unit.

“And I’m not just saying that. Statistically, Raquel and I are the greatest women’s tag team in the world. We’ve held those titles more than any other team ever,” she stated. She believes that the two celebrities should test themselves against the top stars.

“So, naturally, Cardi B and Megan should face the best, which is us. And we will go easy on them. We will give them a fighting chance,” she added.

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have both been involved with WWE in various capacities. Cardi B hosted a premium live event in 2021, and Megan Thee Stallion provided a theme song for television.

Rodriguez echoed these sentiments during a recent interview on the TMZ Inside the Ropes podcast. She stated that the match would be iconic and challenged the two rap stars directly.

Currently, Rodriguez is preparing for an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on WWE Raw. She will face Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky in a triple threat bout to determine who advances to the steel structure on the road to WrestleMania 42.
