Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, was always a massive fan favorite during her time in the company. However, since moving to AEW, she has turned her name into a lucrative, standalone brand. The CEO, as she likes to call herself, never misses an opportunity to make money even if she is not actively wrestling.
The Ex-WWE Star is now officially auctioning off her authentic ring gear to the highest bidders. On her personal website, she announced the new initiative to her supporters. “I’m opening my vault,” she proclaimed.
“Moné Wear is a limited-edition archive collection featuring authentic pieces from my wardrobe — yes, including ring gear and accessories — worn throughout more than 15 years of my defining and most memorable moments,” Mone explained. She detailed the personal touches included with the purchases.
“Each delivered as a collectible with a note from your CEO. Quantities are extremely limited and available by auction only, giving you a direct connection to my legacy and a first glimpse into the future of the Mercedes Moné fashion era,” she stated.
She reflected on her lengthy career in the industry to build excitement for the items. “As I reflect on my 15-year journey in wrestling, I’m filled with gratitude. I’ve worn countless outfits—from early photoshoots to iconic ring gear—and every single piece tells a story.”
“I’ve kept almost everything: Merch and TV t-shirts. Signature jewelry. Every wig that let me reinvent myself. Wrestling shoes that carried me from locker rooms to main events,” she added. Mone emphasized the emotional value of the clothing.
“These aren’t just clothes. They’re fragments of my journey. Each one holds passion, sacrifice, and growth stitched into it. Now, I’m ready to share some of that history with you. This isn’t just an auction—it’s an invitation. A chance for my true fans to own a tangible piece of my legacy. Something to cherish forever,” she wrote.
This massive auction announcement came shortly after she received major fan backlash for a different business venture. She was heavily criticized for defending the price of $99.99 per month just for fans to receive text messages from her. Mone appeared on the “We Playin’ Spades” podcast to justify the steep cost.
“I’m a CEO because there are so many people who say, ‘Oh, I’m talking to you, I’m messaging you,’ and they’re getting scammed. So I’m like, how about you really do talk to me? You talk to the person you love, but you’ve got to pay me a month. I’ll text you whenever I’m free,” she argued.
She clarified the nature of the communication to dispel any inappropriate rumors. “People are paying me a month to text me. No sexy stuff. These are just my legit fans. It’s the Moné crew—the people that love me, respect me, and want to know about the ins and outs of my day, how I’m feeling, what it’s like being a CEO.”
“And I teach them. I’m a CEO for a reason. Isn’t that great? A low price. Brilliant idea. It’s very low,” she ended confidently. Her unapologetic approach to business continues to generate significant debate among the wrestling community.
While Mone focuses on her various business ventures, the AEW roster is preparing for the upcoming Revolution pay-per-view event. The show takes place on March 15, 2026, streaming live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The card is expected to feature MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Hangman Page in a Texas Death Match.
