Seth Rollins Returns, Randy Orton Punches WrestleMania Ticket At WWE Elimination Chamber

The Men’s Elimination Chamber Match took place at the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event. The broadcast aired live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Six male competitors stepped inside the steel structure to battle for a championship opportunity. The participants included Randy Orton, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Logan Paul.

The match began with Je’Von Evans and Cody Rhodes locked inside the ring. They traded holds and strikes as they tried to score a very early elimination.

Trick Williams was the next competitor to enter the bout. He immediately dropped Rhodes with a spinning wheel kick to gain control.

Williams then executed a double chokeslam on both of his opponents. Rhodes and Williams eventually decided to team up against Evans on the steel floor outside the ring.

However, the temporary alliance quickly crumbled as the match continued. Rhodes and Williams soon started fighting each other instead of focusing on their shared target.

Logan Paul entered the match next, followed shortly by LA Knight. Paul aggressively tossed Knight directly into a plexiglass pod and then into the steel fence.

Paul and Evans eventually climbed to the top of one of the pods. Knight followed them up and assisted Evans in tossing Paul completely off the structure.

Knight then executed his BFT finishing maneuver on Evans while standing on top of the pod. Randy Orton was the final person to come out of his pod and enter the bout.

The veteran immediately delivered a series of suplexes to his various opponents. Evans managed to recover and hit a diving frog splash onto Williams from the top of a pod.

Before Evans could capitalize on the move, Paul hit his finisher on him to secure the very first elimination. Knight then attempted a diving attack from the top rope but tripped and lost his footing.

Despite the mistake, Knight still managed to hit the move on Orton. He then hit the BFT on Williams, but Paul quickly eliminated Knight with a surprise roll-up pin.

Paul then successfully eliminated Williams from the match as well. At this point, a masked man climbed the outside of the chamber and unmasked himself.

It turned out to be an unrecognized, random individual who was quickly taken away by security. However, another masked man suddenly came out and aggressively stomped Paul inside the ring.

This interference allowed Rhodes to easily pin Paul for the elimination. The second masked man then unmasked and revealed himself to be a returning Seth Rollins.

After the chaos subsided, Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre came out to the ringside area. He entered the structure and tried to hit a Claymore Kick on Rhodes, but the popular babyface fought back.

Orton took advantage of the distraction and hit an RKO on McIntyre. Rhodes followed up with a Cross Rhodes on the champion.

Immediately after that maneuver, Orton hit Rhodes with a sudden RKO for the final pinfall and the victory. The match ended with Orton standing tall in the center of the ring.

With this victory, Orton has officially earned a championship match at the biggest show of the year. He is expected to face Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42.

The two-night event will take place on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The WWE fans in Chicago witnessed a notable night for the promotion, as the event drew an officially announced attendance of 19,346 people.

This broadcast marked the very first WWE premium live event to be held at the United Center in over three decades. The company will now focus entirely on the upcoming stadium show as the spring season continues.
