Raquel Rodriguez shares her thoughts on the surge of fan support she has experienced recently.
Rapidly rising as a talent in WWE, Rodriguez has garnered positive reactions from fans, even while playing a heel character at this point in her career.
In a recent interview with RAW Recap, Raquel discussed the increase in fan support she’s noticed over the past few months, emphasizing that she is truly a spectacle.
“When I was eliminated and heard the audience booing, they were booing my elimination… Are we all trying to hop on the Big Sexy train? Is that what’s going on? I see it, but I don’t let it affect me because I know they’re all hypocrites. One moment they cheer for me, and the next moment it’s Rhea Ripley. But that’s fine; I understand. I recognize the comparisons. Fans appreciate something big and powerful because they can’t do it themselves. They relate more to the smaller women on the roster like Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, and Asuka. Who can actually relate to me? How many of those fans are six-foot, Mexican, powerful, bilingual, part of Judgment Day, and best friends with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio? None. I am one of a kind. I am the most unique woman on this roster. You’ll never find another Raquel Rodriguez. Fans are starting to see that, which is why they want to see more of me. Because I am a spectacle. I am a superstar.”
