Linda McMahon Helps RFK Jr. Niece Join WWE

The intersection of national politics and professional wrestling has resulted in a major new addition to the women’s division. U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon reportedly played a pivotal role in helping the niece of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. secure a contract with the global sports entertainment giant. The news broke during a joint appearance between the two government officials.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who currently serves as the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, spoke alongside McMahon at the University of Florida on March 5, 2026. The two secretaries were attending an event focused on strengthening nutrition education for future physicians. Before handing the stage over to his colleague, Kennedy Jr. made a surprising announcement regarding his family.

He revealed that his niece, Zoe Hines, has officially signed a contract with the Stamford-based promotion. He took a moment to publicly credit the former WWE CEO for her instrumental role in facilitating the deal. The two officials have developed a close working relationship within the current administration over the past year.

The Secretary of Health and Human Services even added a lighthearted comment regarding the physical nature of the industry his niece is entering. He joked about his professional network potentially assisting her with the inevitable bumps and bruises that come with the squared circle. The crowd appreciated the personal touch during the formal academic setting.Hines is already a highly accomplished athlete, having previously been a standout softball player at Boston College and a member of the French national softball team.

Hines first made waves in the wrestling world when she partook in the official tryouts during SummerSlam week in August 2025. Her performance at the two-day event in New Jersey caught the attention of the scouting team. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque even featured her in social media posts highlighting the top prospects from the camp.

The connection between the promotion and the administration has remained strong throughout 2026. Levesque currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, working under the leadership of the current administration. This ongoing partnership has seen the company align itself with national health and fitness initiatives, including the reintroduction of the Presidential Fitness Test.

As Hines begins her training at the Performance Center in Orlando, the rest of the women’s division is focused on the road to WrestleMania 42. The two-night stadium show takes place on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The event is expected to feature a record-breaking number of women’s matches, including AJ Lee defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Hines will likely look to follow in the footsteps of recent successful recruits as she embarks on her new professional journey in the spring.
