Logan Paul Defends LA Knight Botch

Logan Paul recently defended LA Knight following his highly publicized WWE Elimination Chamber botch. At the February event in Chicago, Knight suffered an embarrassing incident during the Men’s Chamber match. His foot slipped significantly while he was attempting to perform a mid-rope elbow drop on Randy Orton.

The botch quickly became a major talking point on the internet among the WWE fans. It even led to Orton briefly breaking character and laughing while he was lying down inside the steel structure. However, breaking character himself, Paul has now come to the defense of his fellow superstar.

Speaking on a latest episode of his ImPaulsive podcast, Paul explained the physical conditions of the match. He noted that the environment inside the chamber can be incredibly unpredictable for the performers. He wanted to provide some context for why the mistake occurred in the first place.

“That particular botch is not his fault,” Paul stated during the broadcast. “I was in the ring watching it go down live and I can feel the ropes before I do the jumps, they are so slippery you have no idea.”

Shortly after Knight slipped on the move, he was unfortunately eliminated from the contest. He took a low blow from Paul and was subsequently pinned, ending his dreams of a WrestleMania title shot. The moment served as a major turning point in the high-stakes match.

Earlier in the night, fans also saw Finn Balor slip on the exact same rope during his match. Balor was performing a move on CM Punk during their WWE World title match when the footing gave way. It appears that the humidity or the materials used in the arena contributed to the dangerous conditions.

Despite the slip, the performers managed to finish their matches without any serious injuries occurring. Management has reportedly looked into the equipment issues to ensure player safety for future premium events. The roster is currently focused on the final build toward the spring stadium show.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The event will feature Logan Paul in a major role as his rivalry with Seth Rollins continues to intensify. The WWE fans are eager to see if Paul can secure a victory on the grandest stage of them all after his recent physical altercations with the Visionary on Monday Night Raw.
