Jordynne Grace Injured At SmackDown

A prominent member of the women’s division was unfortunately injured prior to the start of Friday’s SmackDown television broadcast. Footage captured by fans and shared on social media showed medical officials attending to Jordynne Grace following her match on Main Event. The powerhouse competitor had just finished a physical encounter against Alba Fyre when the incident occurred.

Shortly after the health scare, Grace took to her personal social media accounts to provide a brief update on her status. She posted a photo of herself sitting in Chelsea Green’s signature wheelchair, jokingly referencing the current situation she found herself in backstage. Green has been utilizing the mobility aid for several weeks following her own ankle injury.

“Well, at least there was already a wheelchair waiting,” Grace quipped to the WWE fans. While the lighthearted comment provided some relief to her supporters, the exact nature or the extent of the injury currently isn’t known. The medical staff is reportedly evaluating her to determine if she will require any significant time away from the ring.

After a very successful stint on NXT, Grace was officially called up to the main roster in January 2026. She immediately entered a high-profile feud with Jade Cargill over the WWE Women’s Championship. On the February 13 edition of SmackDown, Cargill successfully defeated Grace to retain the title. Two weeks later, Grace made a strong return by defeating Candace LeRae in singles competition.

Grace first achieved massive success in TNA Wrestling, where she captured the Knockouts Tag Team titles and became a multiple-time TNA Knockouts Champion. During her tenure in that company, she made history as one of the first TNA stars to appear on WWE television while still holding a rival promotion’s title. She continued to make sporadic appearances in NXT until early 2025 when she officially signed a full-time contract with WWE.

The timing of this injury is particularly difficult as the roster prepares for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. The two-night stadium show is scheduled for April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium. Grace had been rumored for a significant role on the card, potentially involving other top stars from the women’s division. Management will be watching her recovery closely as they finalize the match order for the spring spectacle in Nevada.
