New WWE ID Signings Reported

WWE is officially expected to announce several additional WWE ID signings in the near future. The company recently confirmed that independent standout Jariel Rivera had officially joined the developmental program. This initiative continues to expand as management looks to secure the most talented prospects from the independent circuit.

A new report from Fightful Select indicates that several women have already been signed through this specific initiative. However, the exact identities of those talented athletes have not yet been revealed to the public. The total number of new signings remains a closely guarded secret within the halls of the Performance Center.

The organization first introduced the WWE ID program in October 2024 as a unique way to bring independent wrestlers under contract. The deal allows them to continue performing on the indie circuit while gaining access to top-tier training resources. It serves as a bridge between the independent world and the mainstream roster for rising stars.

Several high-profile wrestling schools are currently affiliated with the program, including Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling and the Nightmare Factory. Wrestlers signed through this initiative have also begun appearing on WWE EVOLVE broadcasts to gain television experience. This strategy ensures a constant pipeline of ready-to-work athletes for the NXT brand.

Currently, the talented Laynie Luck holds the WWE ID Women’s Championship. She captured the vacant title in November 2025 during a high-profile independent event. The inaugural champion, Kylie Rae, originally vacated the belt in September after announcing her pregnancy to the audience. Luck’s victory also earned her a formal developmental contract with the promotion.

At this time, there is no official confirmation on when management plans to reveal the latest batch of signings. However, the announcements are expected to arrive before the massive WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas. The company often utilizes the increased media attention during the spring to highlight their future stars and roster depth.

As the spring season progresses, the WWE fans are watching closely for the next breakout star from the independent ranks. The success of the program has already led to several athletes making their way onto weekly television. WrestleMania 42, taking place on April 18 and 19, 2026, will likely feature several appearances from the developmental roster as the company celebrates its global reach in the Nevada desert.
