Ringside Ban Stipulation Set For AEW Revolution

Toni Storm and Marina Shafir are finally set to clash against each other at the upcoming Revolution event. The two stars have been embroiled in a rivalry that has been brewing for several months since late 2025. Fans are now officially set to witness the potential end of this grudge next week in Los Angeles.

On the March 7 episode of Collision, Storm officially issued a challenge to her rival. Shafir was quick to accept the invitation, setting the stage for a very physical encounter. Their upcoming match will feature a specific stipulation where everyone is banned from the ringside area to prevent any outside interference.

The tension continued to escalate during the most recent broadcast in Tucson. Shafir interfered in Storm and Mina Shirakawa’s high-stakes tag team match against Megan Bayne and Lena Kross. The sudden attack further solidified her status as a primary antagonist for the popular “Timeless” star.

The two athletes have been feuding against each other since the AEW Blood and Guts event last year. They continued their bitter rivalry during the recent women’s tag team titles tournament. Storm teamed up with Shirakawa for that bracket, while Shafir joined forces with the powerful Megan Bayne.

Their upcoming match at Revolution will mark their third overall singles encounter against each other. Their first match took place in 2022, which Storm managed to win after a hard-hitting contest. This was later followed by a second singles match in early 2026, which Storm also won via a disqualification result.

The pay-per-view will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena. The updated lineup for the event features several other massive attractions. MJF will defend the World title against Hangman Page, while FTR faces The Young Bucks for the Tag Team championships in a legendary clash.

The Zero Hour pre-show will feature Ricochet defending his AEW National title in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal. Additionally, the AEW World Trios Champions, Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis, will defend against Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey, and Mistico. The card is currently shaping up to be one of the most comprehensive in the company’s history.

Management is focused on delivering a historic night for the fans in Southern California. The “banned from ringside” stipulation for the Storm versus Shafir match ensures that the focus will remain strictly on the competition inside the ring. The wrestling world will be watching closely to see if Storm can secure her third consecutive victory over her rival.
