Heel Turn Is Coming For WWE RAW Star

The former champion is currently navigating a difficult professional stretch that may be leading toward a significant transformation. Lyra Valkyria suffered another pinfall loss during the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, continuing a rough string of results on the main roster. The athlete was eliminated from the high-stakes Women’s Intercontinental Championship gauntlet match in Seattle.

Valkyria was the first woman eliminated from the contest, falling to a signature moonsault from her former rival, IYO SKY. While the match was eventually won by her partner Bayley, the focus of the commentary team remained on Valkyria’s recent inability to secure a win. Michael Cole specifically highlighted the losing streak throughout the broadcast.

For longtime WWE viewers, this type of pointed on-air acknowledgment often serves as a signal that the creative team is building toward a major storyline pivot. Recent reports from Bodyslam+ suggest that management has internally discussed a significant character makeover for the Irish superstar. The proposed direction would see her adopt a much more aggressive and frustrated persona.

The shift would reportedly be driven by the idea that Valkyria and Bayley have been repeatedly “overlooked” and disrespected by the rest of the division. This new “mean streak” would allow Valkyria to showcase a more ruthless side of her athleticism. It would also differentiate her from the more traditional “babyface” role she has played since her call-up from NXT.

Despite the recent losses, Valkyria remains a vital part of the division’s plans for the spring. She was instrumental in helping Bayley secure her victory in the gauntlet match by neutralizing Kairi Sane at ringside. This partnership is expected to be a primary focus as the roster prepares for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

The stadium show at Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19 will likely feature several high-profile women’s encounters. If the character makeover proceeds as planned, Valkyria could enter the “Silver State” with a completely different attitude. The WWE fans are eager to see if this new aggression will be the key to reclaiming her spot as a top-tier threat in the championship picture.
