Will Steve Austin Appear On Raw Next Week?

The glass could be shattering very soon for the red brand. Monday Night Raw is officially scheduled for March 16, 2026, and management has held significant talks with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin about making a special appearance. The date has become a legendary annual tradition within the industry known as “3:16 Day.”

While an official appearance has not been formally announced by the company, internal sources are reportedly very hopeful that the Hall of Famer will work the show. The event will take place at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, which is a perfect homecoming for the “Texas Rattlesnake.”

According to a recent WrestleVotes Live Q&A, conversations have been ongoing throughout the last week. “I’d say decent shot he’s on the show next week. They’ve talked to him,” the report shared. “There are people who work for the company that are very hopeful ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin will be on that Monday Night Raw.”

Austin has not appeared on a Monday Night Raw broadcast since the 2020 edition of 3:16 Day. That specific show famously took place at an empty Performance Center due to the global pandemic, where he delivered stunners to Byron Saxton and drank beers with Becky Lynch. A return in front of a capacity crowd in his home state would be a major milestone for the current season.

His most recent appearance for the company occurred during night two of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, where he announced the official attendance for the evening. That appearance became somewhat infamous after he accidentally crashed his ATV into the ringside barricade. Despite the mishap, he remains one of the most beloved figures in the history of the business.

The timing of the potential return is ideal, as Austin is already scheduled to be in the area for WrestleMania 42 weekend. He is officially part of the WWE World fan convention in Las Vegas this April. An appearance on the March 16 Raw would provide a massive boost to the television ratings as the brand prepares for its final push toward Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19. The WWE fans are eager to see if one more “hell yeah” is in store for the San Antonio crowd next Monday night.
