The “Prodigy” of the red brand is officially taking her first major steps toward a highly anticipated return to the squared circle. Roxanne Perez appears to be making strong progress in her physical recovery following a recent medical procedure. A new update from March 12, 2026, suggests that her hiatus from the weekly television broadcasts may be nearing its conclusion as the spring season reaches its peak.
Perez took to her Instagram Story today to share a photo of herself working out at the gym, signaling that her rehabilitation has moved into an active phase. While the post did not include a specific caption regarding her timeline, the visual evidence confirms she is back to training. This comes just weeks after she revealed on TikTok that she underwent surgery to remove a benign mass from her back that had caused her significant pain for several months.
“Itravel every single week for Monday Night Raw… but I’ve been out for about a week now,” Perez shared in her initial February update. “I recently underwent a surgery to remove a benign mass that was in my back that was causing me a lot of pain for a couple of months. But I just didn’t want to have time off. I honestly love what I do so so much.”
The surgery forced her to step away from the global spotlight just as the Road to WrestleMania 42 began to accelerate. Her absence has been noticeable within The Judgment Day, as her stablemates—Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio—have remained central figures on the broadcast. Perez had quietly disappeared from the group’s on-screen activities following her physical involvement at the Royal Rumble in January.
Her last televised appearance occurred on the February 2 episode of Monday Night Raw. During that broadcast, she famously interfered in a high-stakes street fight between Raquel Rodriguez and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, even crashing through a table to assist her teammate. Since that night, the WWE fans have been speculating on her status and whether she would be healthy enough for the stadium show in the Nevada desert.
With WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas just weeks away, the timing of her return to the gym is incredibly promising. If she continues to progress at this current pace, a return to the television broadcasts before April 18 and 19 remains a distinct possibility. Management is reportedly keeping her spot in the “family” open as she works toward her goal of “Pop Roxing” the roster once again in the spring.
