Brie Bella is back in WWE — but not nearly as often as she expected. The returning Bella Twin is making clear she wants more time in the ring before WrestleMania season passes her by.
Brie returned to WWE at the end of January alongside her sister Nikki, anticipating a steady on-screen presence. Instead, she’s found herself waiting on the sidelines more than she bargained for. Speaking on An Unlikely Affair, Brie opened up about the frustrating reality of her comeback.
“It’s one of those crazy things… I came back at the end of January and I just assumed, oh, you’re gonna have me back every Monday,” she said. “But they’re like, ‘Okay, we’ll let you know when you’re needed back in the story.’ And I’m like, it’s been five weeks.”
The wait hasn’t dulled her ambition. Brie made it clear that she and Nikki have a specific goal in mind — earning a spot in a WrestleMania title match. “I would love to be able to wrestle before WrestleMania. I do because the titles are on the line and they will be at WrestleMania. Nikki and I both want to prove that we can hang with this division and that we deserve to be in that WrestleMania match to go for the titles.”
The urgency in her message was unmistakable: “They just need to give me the time. I gotta get in there.”
With WrestleMania approaching and title matches taking shape, the window for the Bella Twins to make their case is narrowing. Whether WWE finds a place for Brie on the card before the showcase of the immortals remains to be seen, but she’s clearly not content waiting on the sidelines any longer.
