Seth Rollins Provides Update On In-Ring Clearance

How much longer will one of WWE’s biggest stars be relegated to the sidelines while using “trickeration” to navigate his rivalries? Out of action and recovering from an injury for the past few months, Seth Rollins recently made his WWE return at Elimination Chamber; however, despite the return, Rollins has not been cleared for in-ring action. Recently appearing on Good Morning Football and addressing his return, Rollins shared the latest update on his in-ring clearance while crediting the Kansas City Chiefs for being more synchronized than his band of masked men.

Rollins Provides Injury Timetable

Rollins explained that the chaotic segment on RAW was a necessity due to his current physical limitations. He said, “Alright, we executed to perfection. We got in there, we protected Seth Rollins, we confused everybody and we got out of there, and that is what we had to do because Seth Rollins, that’s me, I’m not cleared yet. I can’t get into any real physicality. I gotta protect this shoulder for maybe another couple weeks or so and then we’ll see if we need these masked men, if we need all this trickeration or not.” The segment was specifically designed to keep Logan Paul and Austin Theory off balance while ensuring Rollins remained safe.

Concerns Over The Masked Men Segment

Reflecting on the logistics of the segment, Rollins admitted he was worried about the safety of those involved in the ring. “You know what? I was just hoping nobody lost a shoe,” Rollins said while laughing. “I was like, hopefully nobody falls over or nobody lost a shoe… When you’re dealing with a lot of bodies like that and a lot of moving parts in the ring, I was just hoping nobody blew out an ACL. I was hoping nobody lost a ligament in the knee there.” This cautious approach follows a significant setback Rollins suffered at Crown Jewel 2025 during a match against Cody Rhodes while performing a coast-to-coast headbutt.

With WrestleMania 42 fast approaching at Allegiant Stadium, the clock is ticking for Rollins to receive official medical clearance. WWE fans are closely watching the internal “road to recovery” as the company begins to finalize its marquee matchups for the two-night extravaganza in Las Vegas.
