LA Knight is one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster — and he still doesn’t know what he’s doing at WrestleMania 42. Speaking to Esteban Ramirez, Knight gave an update on his Mania status that was as honest as it was unsettling for fans hoping to see him on the biggest stage of the year.
“I don’t even know what to expect from me at WrestleMania, because I have no idea where my direction is, what I’m doing yet,” Knight said. “And in a lot of ways, that’s the most dangerous position in the best way.” He turned the uncertainty into a promise, vowing to leave an impression regardless of the setting. “If it’s your first time ever seeing me, you’ll come away with something where you’re like, ‘Oh my god, remember when he said this?’ The bottom line is, I’m gonna leave you walking away from that place saying, ‘L… A… Knight… YEAH!'”
Knight addressed a separate frustration in an interview with the BootlegKev podcast, revealing that his appearance on WWE Unreal left him feeling his privacy had been violated. “I had no idea I was being filmed. I had no idea that I was on a microphone at that point in time. It felt like an invasion of privacy.” As a result, Knight has changed his post-match routine entirely. “I don’t even stop at Gorilla Position anymore. When my match or segment is over, I go straight to the locker room.” He added that he’s open to discussing his performances — but only when cameras aren’t rolling.
