Dominik Mysterio was absent from this week’s Monday Night Raw after being placed in concussion protocol, with the injury believed to have occurred during his AAA Rey de Reyes appearance. According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, the original planned match for the show was Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee, but the bout was changed to Penta vs. Dragon Lee due to Mysterio’s medical situation.
The incident reportedly stems from Mysterio’s intense match against El Hijo del Vikingo at the AAA event, where he retained the AAA Mega Championship. Dirty Dom vs. Vikingo was a physically demanding bout, and Mysterio seemingly suffered a concussion in the process.
With Mysterio out and the rest of the Judgment Day’s planned segment affected, Liv Morgan appeared via video to address the group’s attack on Finn Balor, stating it had always been her plan to remove him from the faction. Mysterio’s timeline for return has not been announced.
