Monday night’s WWE Raw at the TD Garden in Boston just got a lot bigger. General Manager Adam Pearce released his weekly card rundown, adding several matches and segments to what is already a stacked show featuring CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar all confirmed in the building.
Intercontinental Champion Penta will defend his title against Dominik Mysterio, who missed last week’s Raw while in concussion protocol following a chair shot from El Hijo del Vikingo at AAA Rey de Reyes on March 14. Mysterio appears to have cleared protocol in time to compete Monday. Grayson Waller vs. Je’Von Evans and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs. The Kabuki Warriors — Asuka and Kairi Sane — have also been added to the card.
Pearce also cleared up confusion around the match between Logan Paul and Austin Theory against The Usos. WWE.com had referred to the tag titles being on the line last week, but Pearce confirmed the bout will be contested under non-title rules. “Logan Paul, now that he’s done playing flag football with Tom Brady, will team with Austin Theory. That’s right, it will be The Vision taking on The Usos. Non-title rules in effect,” he said.
Becky Lynch is also set to appear live to address her attack on AJ Lee. As of Friday’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, 10,181 tickets had been distributed for the Boston show.
