WWE has been approved for $4,314,821 in tax credits from the state of Nevada for the production of WrestleMania 42, according to a report from Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling. The credit is tied to WWE’s planned $35 million spend on producing WrestleMania 42 and its surrounding events in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19.
The Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development confirmed the approval, with Director of Communications Carli Smith providing direct confirmation to POST Wrestling. An independent audit will be conducted, and the approved figure represents the maximum amount WWE can receive. The 2026 credit is slightly higher than last year’s $4.2 million approval for WrestleMania 41, which was also held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The approved tax credit reflects the significant economic footprint WrestleMania week generates for the Las Vegas area, with WWE’s production investment extending well beyond the two nights of in-ring action to encompass the full week of events including WWE World at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
