WWE Already Has Roman Reigns’ Next Two Major Feuds Planned and They Are Going to Be Must-See Television

Roman Reigns’ post-WrestleMania 42 direction is already taking shape — and WWE appears to have two significant programs lined up for the new World Heavyweight Champion. According to Bodyslam, both Gunther and Oba Femi are expected to be part of Reigns’ upcoming feuds as the company builds the next phase of its top-level championship rivalries.

The Gunther program has been discussed internally as a significant direction for Reigns going forward, per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. The match-up between two of the most credible and physically imposing performers in WWE would be one of the most anticipated in recent memory given both men’s dominance over the past several years. Oba Femi’s potential program with Reigns was essentially teased at the WrestleMania 42 post-show itself, when Femi directly called out Reigns and the new champion responded by telling Femi to prove himself over the summer before stepping to the Greatest of All Time.

Reigns Has Already Announced He Will Be on Raw All Summer Making Both Programs Viable for 2026

Reigns’ own post-show announcement that fans will see him “all summer” in a return to full-time WWE television makes both programs logistically viable. A summer spent establishing his championship reign against Gunther — one of the most respected in-ring performers in the world — followed by a collision with Femi at the end of the year would represent one of the strongest championship booking sequences WWE has assembled in recent memory.
