Chelsea Green has shared a significant personal health update — revealing on Instagram that she underwent a heart procedure after doctors finally identified a condition she had been living with for ten years. Green posted a photo from her hospital bed alongside husband Matt Cardona, smiling as she shared the news with her followers.

“After 10 years, doctors finally caught my SVT and I was able to get a heart procedure done! Three hours later and I’m on the mend,” Green wrote.

SVT — supraventricular tachycardia — is a type of irregular heartbeat that affects the heart’s upper chambers. According to the Mayo Clinic, it is described as “a very fast or erratic heartbeat” that falls under the broader category of arrhythmia. While Green did not specify the exact nature of her procedure, the three-hour timeline is consistent with an SVT ablation — a treatment that uses heat or cold energy to create tiny scars in the heart that block faulty electrical signals and restore normal rhythm. The Mayo Clinic notes that SVT ablation typically takes between three and six hours.
