Brock Lesnar and Sable Just Celebrated Their 20th Wedding Anniversary

Brock Lesnar and Sable reached a significant personal milestone on Wednesday, May 6, celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. The couple met during Sable’s 2003 return to WWE — a return that drew attention at the time because she was still married to someone else. Sable finalized her divorce in 2004 before she and Lesnar officially married two years later in 2006.

Sable — real name Rena Mero — began her wrestling career in 1996 alongside her then-husband Marc Mero and went on to win the WWE Women’s Championship during her first run with the company. Lesnar, of course, is one of the most dominant forces in the history of professional wrestling — a former WWE Champion, Universal Champion, and multi-time world title holder across WWE and UFC whose most recent appearance came at WrestleMania 42, where he lost to Jacob Fatu in what appeared to be a retirement match.
