WWE SmackDown Won Friday Night Cable — And Still Posted Its Worst Demo Rating In Four Months

The May 15 episode of WWE SmackDown drew 1.184 million viewers on USA Network, down 7.4% from the previous week’s 1.279 million, with the 18-49 demo rating falling from 0.29 to 0.23, per Wrestlenomics. It is the second-lowest audience for SmackDown since February 27 and the lowest demo rating since January 23.

Despite the declines, SmackDown topped the prime time cable charts for the night, nearly doubling the next highest show on a night with no major sports competition. It finished fifth across all television, trailing four network shows.

Compared to the same week in 2025, total viewership is down 8.2% and the 18-49 rating is down 36.1%. The May 15 episode was down 12.7% in viewers and 30.3% in the 18-49 demo compared to SmackDown’s recent ten-week averages.
