Enzo Amore has been pulling back on independent bookings as WWE reunion talks with Big Bill gain momentum, with Ringside News reporting that Amore is clearing his schedule in anticipation of a potential return.
Amore has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center on multiple occasions in recent weeks, including the day of an NXT broadcast. WWE made contact with him during WrestleMania 42 week, per Self Made PW, and WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that WWE has retained backstage relationships with both Amore and Big Bill through multiple producers who worked with them during their original NXT and Raw runs.
Big Bill’s AEW contract was believed to be expiring at the end of May or the start of June, per a Fightful Select report from April. He has wrestled only twice for AEW in 2026, with his last match coming in a February parking lot street fight on Collision. No new AEW deal has been confirmed.
Amore was released by WWE in January 2018 following sexual assault allegations. An investigation was subsequently closed with no charges filed. He has worked the independent circuit since, including promoting his own Fourth Rope Wrestling events. No WWE return has been officially confirmed.
