Ric Flair has apologized for publicly airing his frustrations over the Flair trademark dispute with his son David, revealing he is dealing with undisclosed health issues and posting a photo from outside a hospital emergency room.
Flair’s original posts threatening legal action and then clarifying he wasn’t actually suing David were both subsequently deleted. His apology read: “If You Understood The Health Issues That I Deal With And Am Currently Dealing With, You Would Understand Why I Get Frustrated In Life With A Lot Of People. I’m Sorry For The Frustration. I Am Taking Time To Focus On My Health.”
He also shared a screenshot from Apple Health showing a resting heart rate of 98 BPM and a walking average of 101 BPM. Before deleting his earlier posts, Flair had clarified he was not suing David but asked him to stop using the Flair name and to stop selling wrestling robes he was given permission to use during his career.
Flair, 77, had a brush with death in 2017 after being placed in a medically induced coma due to multiple organ failure.
