The two faced each other in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Cup quarterfinal at AEW Double or Nothing on May 24, where Athena defeated Shirakawa. SKY and Shirakawa have been in each other’s orbit across the two promotions, with their relationship apparently extending beyond television.
