Jey Uso has declared himself the best world entertainment wrestler in the world, firing back at critics in a new interview while pushing back on the narrative that his recent run has been below expectations.
Speaking to Fightful, Uso addressed the criticism that has followed him since being voted Most Overrated Wrestler in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s 2025 Year-End Awards — an accolade that came despite winning the Royal Rumble and the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.
“I’m the best world entertainment wrestler in the world. That’s what I am. It is what it is. I do everything you need a wrestler to do, and I do it at the highest level. When I walk out there, I can feel the energy. I give it all back. Every time.”
He also addressed the overrated label directly, saying the criticism comes from a vocal minority and that the majority of fans tell a different story.
Uso recently reunited with his brother Jimmy as The Usos, reforming the tag team on Raw. Prior to the reunion he had been part of a program with Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu tied to the Tribal Combat storyline at Clash in Italy on May 31.
