Order has seemingly been restored on Monday Night Raw, but it came at the cost of General Manager Adam Pearce swallowing his pride. Following weeks of escalating tension between management and Paul Heyman’s dominant faction, The Vision, the two sides finally came to a truce this week. Decked out in an intimidating all-black outfit, Bron Breakker marched to the ring flanked by the full strength of his stable: Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory.
After a commercial break, Heyman took the microphone to praise his unit before turning his attention to the elephant in the room: the incident on January 12 where Pearce physically put his hands on Breakker. Pearce eventually hit the ring to address the situation head-on. Acknowledging that the situation had gotten “way out of hand,” the GM formally apologized to The Vision and promised that such a breach of protocol would not happen again. In a massive peace offering, Pearce revealed that he is officially lifting Breakker’s suspension effective immediately.
The segment didn’t end with just a reinstatement. Pearce announced that to “make things right,” he was entering Bron Breakker into the upcoming Royal Rumble match. However, the GM added a twist that he described as “adding a little bit of sour to the sweet deal.” He announced that Breakker wouldn’t be alone; Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul are also officially entered into the 30-man over-the-top-rope elimination match.
While this puts the entire faction in a position to headline WWE WrestleMania 42, it also forces them to compete against one another. With the “every man for himself” nature of the Rumble, fans are now left wondering if the unity of The Vision will crack when a world championship opportunity is on the line in Saudi Arabia.
