Injury Update On AEW Star

Recent updates indicate that Penelope Ford suffered a legitimate injury during the February 25, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite. Ford, alongside her MegaBad tag team partner Megan Bayne, was challenging The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships.

During the bout, Ford executed a moonsault to the outside but landed awkwardly, resulting in a reported foot or leg injury (believed to be a sprain). While she attempted to continue for several minutes, she ultimately had to bow out and was attended to by ringside doctors. To protect Bayne from a 2-on-1 handicap situation, an audible was called mid-match. Lena Kross interfered using a title belt, resulting in a disqualification victory for the champions. This is an unfortunate setback for Ford, who had just returned to action in January after missing three months with a torn UCL in her elbow.
