Former WWE Star Teases One-Night Only Comeback

The former world-class athlete is officially clarifying his future inside the squared circle. Dean Muhtadi, known to the WWE fans as Mojo Rawley, recently addressed whether he would ever return to a full-time wrestling schedule. Despite teasing a comeback for nearly six years, the former André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner confirmed that he considers himself retired from the daily grind.

Speaking with TSC Wrestling, Muhtadi explained that the physical demands of a year-long touring schedule no longer make sense for his current lifestyle. He has transitioned into a successful career outside of the ring, though his passion for the industry remains as strong as ever. He admitted that while he misses the environment, he is at peace with his decision.

“Full-time, buddy. I am retired even though I have been teasing the comeback for what, almost six years at this point,” Muhtadi shared. “I’ve been going in and training, you know, since I’ve been retired. I love it. I miss it. I can’t do it full-time. It doesn’t make any sense for me in just all the ways right now.”

However, he did leave the door open for a special guest appearance in the future. He noted that he plans to return for “one night only” if the business opportunity is right. This could involve a high-profile cameo or a specific match that resonates with the audience as a “fun” piece of business.

“To that point, I do plan on coming back at some point for, like, one night only. One fun match here and there, find a piece of business that makes a lot of sense,” he added. The former star remains in peak physical condition, as evidenced by his regular training sessions in the gym.

As the industry prepares for WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, fans often speculate about which former stars might make a surprise return. While a full-time run is off the table for the “Hypeman,” a one-off appearance in the Nevada desert would surely be a high-energy moment for the crowd. The two-night spectacle on April 18 and 19, 2026, continues to be the ultimate destination for stars from every era of the business.
