WWE has officially announced that Saturday Night’s Main Event will return to Madison Square Garden on July 18, marking the first time the historic show will air from the iconic New York City venue since August 2007. The announcement was made during Monday’s Raw, which also took place at MSG, giving the moment added significance as WWE returned to the world’s most famous arena.
The July 18 SNME will be part of FanaticsFest, adding a major wrestling component to what is shaping up as a significant New York City entertainment weekend. According to Fightful Select, WrestleVotes first reported that SNME was being planned for MSG in July, and Monday’s official announcement on Raw confirmed those reports.
Before the MSG date, the next Saturday Night’s Main Event takes place on May 23 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana — just two weeks after WWE Backlash on May 9 in Tampa. Saturday Night’s Main Event airs on Peacock. The MSG announcement adds another landmark date to WWE’s 2026 calendar, with the July 18 show expected to be one of the most anticipated SNME broadcasts in nearly two decades given the venue’s unique history with the brand.
