Brock Rechsteiner — son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner — has confirmed plans to pursue a pro wrestling career with WWE once his football days are over. Rechsteiner signed a WWE NIL deal back in June 2025 as part of the company’s college athlete program, and he recently signed with the Tennessee Titans following his college stint with the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. The NFL hopeful made it clear that wrestling is the long-term goal, with the Steiner family legacy serving as direct inspiration for the eventual transition.

Speaking with Sharief Ishaq of WDSU, Rechsteiner pointed to his father’s 2022 WWE Hall of Fame induction in Dallas as a turning point. The moment inspired him to start mapping out a future in wrestling, even as he focused on his football career. Rechsteiner stated he wants to play football for as long as he can give it his best shot, but once that chapter closes, he intends to follow in the footsteps of his father Scott Steiner and uncle Rick Steiner. The WWE NIL program gives him an early foothold inside the company while he continues his NFL pursuit.
Bron Breakker Encouraging Cousin To Join WWE
Rechsteiner also revealed that his cousin Bron Breakker has been a major influence behind the scenes. The two work out together back home in Georgia, where Breakker recently relocated, and they spend time fishing together as well. Breakker has reportedly been very direct in encouraging Rechsteiner to commit to wrestling once football wraps up. With Breakker already a top star in WWE and a Steiner-family revival potentially in motion, the Rechsteiner name could become a major presence on WWE programming in the years ahead.
