Triple H and Nick Khan told WWE talent in a town hall meeting that the return of house shows this summer is driven by both developmental value for younger talent and the opportunity to experiment creatively in front of live crowds, per PWInsider.
According to both executives, house shows are not only important for in-ring reps but can be used to try different things in front of different audiences. They also said the schedule would balance younger talent gaining experience alongside established main roster names, and that they want to find the right balance to minimize injury risk.
When Endeavor purchased WWE in 2023, house show scheduling was significantly reduced. The summer tour begins July 11 in New Mexico and runs through stops in Pennsylvania, California, Illinois, Virginia, New Hampshire, Georgia and South Carolina.
