WWE Raw emanated from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina on Monday night, headlined by Brock Lesnar’s shock return and a Tribal Combat match officially set for Clash in Italy.
The show opened with Jacob Fatu calling out Roman Reigns, only for the Usos to answer first. Jimmy tried to reason with Fatu while Jey came with a chair, but Fatu absorbed the shot and put both Usos down with the Tongan Death Grip. Reigns made his entrance and the two exchanged blows before Fatu caught him in the same grip. The Usos bailed out Reigns with a spear and splash combination, and the trio left Fatu tied in the ropes to take a Superman Punch and superkicks before Reigns closed with a spear. Before Reigns and Adam Pearce could discuss Fatu’s firing, Fatu shouted “Tribal Combat!” from the mat — and Reigns accepted. Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match is now confirmed for Clash in Italy on May 31 in Turin, with the loser required to acknowledge the winner as Tribal Chief.
Finn Balor defeated JD McDonagh in a Street Fight in fourteen minutes. The match moved between the ring and crowd, featured tables, kendo sticks, chairs and trash cans, and included a Dominik Mysterio run-in that ultimately backfired — McDonagh ate the 619 meant for Balor, Balor stuffed McDonagh in a trash can, hit a shotgun dropkick, and finished with the Coupe de Grace.

El Grande Americano, Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano defeated the Original Grande Americano (Chad Gable) and the Creed Brothers in a Tornado Tag Match after ten minutes of chaotic multi-man action. Gable had several strong showings including simultaneous suplexes, but the phony Americanos closed with triple German suplexes, triple moonsaults, and a series of headbutts to put away one of the Creeds.
Brie Bella and Paige retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez in ten minutes. Liv Morgan was ejected from ringside after pushing Brie Bella off the top rope in view of the referee. Rodriguez attempted to hand Perez a title belt as a weapon, Bella ducked the swing and rolled up Perez for the pin. After the match, Morgan returned to attack the champions, but Bayley and Lyra Valkyria made the save — Bayley with a Bayley-to-Belly on Morgan, Valkyria with a dropkick on Perez and Rodriguez.
Brock Lesnar returned during Oba Femi’s open challenge, attacking Femi from behind and hitting four consecutive F5s. Paul Heyman then handed Adam Pearce a contract signed by Lesnar for a match against Femi at Clash in Italy.
Seth Rollins defeated Austin Theory in the main event after nearly thirteen minutes. Theory and Logan Paul worked over Rollins’ ankle throughout the match. Paul slipped Theory brass knuckles late, but Rollins hit a superkick, the ref confiscated the knucks, and Rollins reversed a Theory rollup into a Pedigree for the pin. The Vision attacked Rollins after the match and attempted to sandwich his body between two halves of the ring steps before Adam Pearce’s security team intervened. Montez Ford came out to save Angelo Dawkins from a Bron Breakker spear, taking the hit himself. Dawkins was then gut-busted by Breakker, who added a second spear on Rollins before The Vision walked off.
Elsewhere on the show, Seth Rollins directly challenged Bron Breakker in a backstage interview, calling him a “nepo baby.” Sol Ruca called out Becky Lynch to the ring after Lynch told her she should go back to NXT, and Lynch agreed to a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event — but not a title match, despite Ruca’s request. LA Knight confronted the Usos backstage, pointing out that what Roman Reigns and the Usos are doing is no different from what The Vision does, and walked away when neither had an answer. Ethan Page handed Michael Cole a list of pre-written interview questions; Cole told him his ego would cost him the Intercontinental Championship. Penta responded to Page’s comments ahead of their match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The current Clash in Italy card stands at: Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther, Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat, and Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi.
