Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch have both spent time working with Evans backstage, further building his reputation as a potential future top star.
Evans debuted on the January 5 episode of Raw after being called up from NXT. Since then he has competed in the Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber, and a six-pack ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42. On this week’s Raw he challenged Penta for the Intercontinental Championship, coming up short in his bid to capture the title.
